policy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with and what you can demand about it. It follows the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, for visitors in Europe, the GDPR.
Last updated: 27 July 2026
1 · Who is responsible
The data controller is Marcelo Vieira da Cruz Langsdorff, registered under CPF (Brazilian tax ID) 091.771.117-37, at Av. das Américas, 2480, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, 22640-101, Brazil.
For anything concerning personal data, including the rights listed in section 7, write to langsnutri@gmail.com.
2 · What data is collected
| Source | Data | When |
|---|---|---|
| Browsing | IP address, device type, browser, language, pages viewed, referral source | Always, technically. It only becomes analytics data with your consent |
| Contact form | Name, email, main goal, time zone and whatever you write | When you send a request |
| Your handle and the content of the conversation | When you start a direct message | |
| Language preference | Your choice between Portuguese and English | Stored in your browser, it never leaves it |
This website does not ask for and should not receive health data through these channels. Clinical information is handled inside the consultation, under professional confidentiality, not through a public form.
3 · What the data is used for
- Replying to your consulting request and arranging a schedule.
- Understanding how the site is used, if you accept analytics cookies.
- Measuring and improving advertising, if you accept marketing cookies.
- Remembering the language you chose.
- Meeting a legal obligation, where one applies.
There is no automated decision with legal effect, and no profiling beyond the audience and advertising measurement described above.
4 · Legal bases
- Consent for analytics and marketing cookies. You give it and withdraw it whenever you want.
- Pre contractual steps to handle your consulting request.
- Legitimate interest to keep the site running securely.
- Legal obligation to keep the access records Brazilian law requires.
5 · Cookies
On your first visit you choose what you accept. That choice lasts twelve months and can be revisited at any time through Cookie preferences. Until you decide, nothing beyond the necessary is activated, and Google measurement signals stay in the denied state under Consent Mode v2.
| Category | Purpose | Needs your consent |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keep the site working and remember your language and cookie choice | No |
| Analytics | Count visits and show which sections get read | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure advertising results and avoid repeating the same ad | Yes |
6 · Who the data is shared with
Personal data is never sold. It is shared only with the services that make the site work:
- Google (Analytics and Ads), if you accept the matching categories.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if you accept marketing cookies.
- Instagram, when you start a direct message yourself. That conversation then follows the platform's own policy.
- Hotmart, if you buy a product. The purchase happens in their environment, under their policy.
- Website hosting, which stores technical access logs.
The controller is based in Brazil, so data reaches a country outside the European Economic Area. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by each provider, and Brazil maintains a data protection law recognised as equivalent in its core guarantees.
7 · Your rights
At any time and at no cost, you can:
- Confirm whether your data is processed and request access to it.
- Correct data that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.
- Request anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data.
- Request portability to another provider.
- Withdraw consent and be told what happens if you do.
- Object to a given processing activity and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Requests go to langsnutri@gmail.com and are answered within fifteen days. Identity confirmation may be required first, precisely so your data is not handed to someone else.
8 · How long data is kept
- Contact requests that did not become a consultation: 12 months.
- Cookie consent records: 12 months.
- Website access logs: 6 months, as required by Brazilian law.
- Client data: for the duration of the consultation and the legal and professional retention periods that follow it.
9 · Security
The site uses an encrypted connection and access to data is restricted to the people who need it to serve you. No system is infallible: if an incident with relevant risk happens, affected individuals and the competent authority are notified within the legal deadlines.
10 · Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Any change affecting the legal basis of a processing activity reopens the consent request.
